I’m Maren, a content designer and UX writer based in San Francisco. I’m passionate about using language to make complex things feel simple and human. 

I have been working in healthcare over the last decade, using my writing skills to help people access and save on health care and stay healthy. I’ve also worked in edtech, nonprofit communications, magazine journalism, and even as an encyclopedia editor.

In my free time, I hike, practice yoga, dance, read, watch period dramas, and travel. My greatest adventure was hiking to Machu Picchu. Hablo español.
